April 18, Kateryna Zavadska, a student of the Social Work program at Sumy State University, held the first lesson of the training course "Speak. Listen. Answer" at the Faculty of Psychological Support of the University of the Third Age of the Sumy City Territorial Center "Berehynia".

The training course is Kateryna's own development, to which she devoted her course work on "Social Work Technologies". At the previous stage (in her coursework on research methods), Kateryna conducted a needs assessment and now she has developed an event that meets the identified needs. Together with our student, the participants of the third-age university worked with interest with the concepts of "active listening" and "effective communication". Moreover, a number of practical exercises were offered.
