April 30, students majoring in social work held another creative class for the clients of the NGO Felicitas. This is the final event at our practice site this semester.

Interaction with the NGO “Felicitas” took place within the framework of the EC “History and Theory of Social Work with a Content Module: Features of work with different groups of clients”. The cooperation was intensified thanks to the project “EU4Youth - Youth Employment in Times of Crisis: Personal Assistants Program to Support People with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities and Psychosocial Disabilities in Ukraine”.

The theoretical knowledge about the characteristics of different client groups discussed in the classroom was reinforced by practice on the example of conducting classes for people with intellectual disabilities. It was not an easy experience, but the students passed the test of humanity and willingness to help with flying colors.

We are grateful to the specialists of the NGO Felicitas for their practical training and support!
