November 2, an Open Day was held at Sumy State University. The Department of Psychology of Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies introduced the applicants to the specialties of Psychology and Social Work.

Students of the departmental specialties prepared various activities for applicants. Thus, in the format of the game “Elias” (a related activity in psychology and social work), the task was for applicants to guess three words related to psychology and social work and guess which specialties are associated with these words.
Through activities: “Situation cards” were used to guess the specialty of social work by describing their own actions in the proposed situations to solve a problem and overcome difficult life circumstances;
“Emotional cards” - applicants described the emotions and states depicted on the cards and guessed the specialty Psychology.
After completing the tasks, the applicants received chips from teachers and students and exchanged them for souvenirs from the university in the souvenir shop.
