November 15 and 28, 2024, within the framework of the educational component “Introduction to the specialty with the content module ‘Occupational Safety’ (lecturer - Associate Professor Semenov V.M.), an online tour of the library of Sumy State University and a lecture on the university library and its capabilities were held. The excursion and lecture were conducted by the deputy head of the library Iryna Kovalenko.

The students received information about the automated library information system, namely: the library's website, electronic catalog, institutional repository of Sumy State University, access to international and domestic databases and programs: Scopus, Web of Science, Springer, ScienceDirect, Liga:Law.

The students also learned about the educational resources of the Sumy State University library system, the library system's software resources, online services of the library system, book ordering, plagiarism check, UDC/JEL online, thematic literature selection, and editing of bibliographies.
