January 23, an event dedicated to the Day of Community was held as part of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program “How Are U?”. The event was organized by Kristina Sakhno, a consultant in the Sumy community.

The participants were presented with the “Mental Health Service Routes in the Sumy Community”, which was formed as part of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program “How Are U?” on the initiative of Olena Zelenska. The route brought together providers from different sectors into a single referral system.

Representatives of various organizations received information about institutions, addresses, types of services, and phone numbers and hotlines. The event was also attended by the head of the Psychological Service of Sumy State University, P. Sakhno. The participants of the meeting discussed the urgency of the need for mental health services in the community and the need to create such a product.

The consultant also informed that all data on services and their providers will be displayed on the “How Are U?” platform, about online and offline assistance opportunities, including the Community Resilience webinar series.

She emphasized that the CMU Mental Health Coordination Center is the implementer of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program “How Are U?”.

During the meeting, communication between service providers was established, and awareness of service providers about the possibilities of referral and redirection was raised.
