Value your knowledge - it is a resource of recovery! March 11, 2025, students of the educational program “Social Work” took part in the first stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the specialty “Social Work”, organized by the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies in accordance with the Order of Sumy State University №0101-VI of 28.01.2025 “On holding the first stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in disciplines and specialties in the academic year 2024-2025”.

Andriana KOSTENKO, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies, welcomed the participants of the Olympiad, noting that the Olympiad brought together all concerned students interested in testing the level of knowledge and professional competencies in the specialty 231 Social Work, wished them success, intellectual and emotional satisfaction from the tasks, and emphasized that all participants would be recognized by the department.

Olena KUPENKO, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, guarantor of the educational program “Social Work”, congratulated the participants of the Olympiad, noted that the proposed tasks will allow students to reveal the level of possession of professionally significant knowledge, the ability to creatively and carefully approach the solution of problematic practical situations, wished them success and high results.

The students were offered tasks that require not only knowledge of theoretical aspects of social work, but also practical approaches to the work of a social worker and the use of creative abilities, in particular: test tasks, the content of which corresponds to the content of the educational components of the educational program “Social Work”; practice-oriented task (case); creative task - a social advertising project (poster, booklet, flyer, video, photo collage, etc.).

The winners of the Olympiad will be determined based on the results of the evaluation of the completed works.
