Eduard Turenko, Chairman of the Expert Council of Employers for the OEP 033 Philosophy of Sumy State University, Doctor of Philosophy, Research Fellow at the Faculty of Philosophy of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, gave a lecture to the department's graduate students on the methodology of philosophical text analysis and interpretation.
The following issues were discussed: basic models of the main topics in the history of philosophy, in particular, ancient philosophy; according to the method of representation of philosophical knowledge, the speaker classified the history of philosophy into narrative and interpretive. Among other things, the speaker conceptualized the process of interpretation in philosophical texts and the genesis of the concept of hermeneutics.
