December 27, a special event was traditionally held at the Department of PCT - the solemn ceremony of awarding the Social O.S.K.A.R. in Sumy State University 2023.

The seventh ceremony of the event "Social O.S.K.A.R. in Sumy State University 2023" was a special event - it brought together not only representatives of science and business, local authorities and public figures, social services and media, students of the Department of PPST, but also clients of social services.

For the first time, this event was organized at the Sumy State University Congress Center.

A touching performance by the wards of the Sumy City Territorial Center for Social Services (Provision of Social Services) "Bereginya" did not leave anyone indifferent, showing those life values that are truly real and irreplaceable.

At the seventh ceremony, the winners of the "Social O.S.K.A.R. in Sumy State University 2023" were announced:  

• Zhanna Sitalo, Director of the Regional Municipal Institution of the Sumy Regional Council "Social Dormitory for Orphans and Children Deprived of Parental Care", nomination "Assistance and Strengthening the Capacity of Vulnerable Groups to Overcome Difficult Life Circumstances";
• Natalia Goncharuk, nomination "Community cohesion";
• Olena Solonenko, NGO "Women of Lebedynshchyna", nomination "Community cohesion and civil society development";
• Oksana Khomenko-Horshkova, project "Help St. Nicholas", nomination "Assistance to vulnerable groups in difficult life circumstances";
• Svitlana Redia, Circle of Unity NGO, for the Digital Compass project, Local Social Initiatives nomination;
• Volodymyr Nyankin, nominated for Topical Media Project.
