January 26, a group of lecturers from the Department of Political Science took part in the First International Forum of Political Scientists in Ukraine, which took place in Lviv.

The forum brought together dozens of experts, scholars and educators in the field of political science. The Department of Political Science of Sumy State University was represented by:
- Doctor of Political Science, Professor, Acting Head of the Department of Political Science Andriana Kosteno;
- Candidate of Political Science, Associate Professor, Head of the Student Scientific Club "Culture. Politics. Technology" Valentyna Opanasiuk;
- Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor, Deputy Head of the Department of International Activities, Head of the Center for Regional Security Studies Mykola Nazarov;
- Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor, member of the working project group of the educational program "Political Technologies and Analytics" Sergiy Korol.
The Forum discussed practical and theoretical innovations and trends in national and international political science.
