For the fifth year in a row, Oleh Tuliakov, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies, became the champion of Sumy Region in the classic bench press (one of the exercises in powerlifting, a weightlifting sport).

This time, he set a personal record (100 kg) and once again received a ticket to the Ukrainian Championship, which will be held in late February this year in Kolomyia (Ivano-Frankivsk region).

It is worth noting that Oleh Tuliakov conducts his competitive and training activities in connection with the Critical Thinking scientific club, whose students are also Oleh Tuliakov's students in the gym. Weightlifting is inherently a practice of establishing neuromuscular connection and other forms of activating human thinking.

At these competitions, together with their teacher, three students of the "Critical Thinking" scientific circle won medals of the regional championship, which clearly confirmed that a healthy body is the key to a person's success in solving other complex professional and life tasks.
