The Sumy publishing house "University Book" presented a book by Serhiy Pobozhiy, PhD in Art History, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies of Sumy State University, Honored Artist of Ukraine, "Names of Ukraine. 100 artists. The twentieth century".

The book presents the works of Ukrainian artists of fine and decorative arts, whose work dates back to the twentieth century. The illustrations give an idea of the stylistic features of the works, their genre and thematic diversity. The book consists of an introductory article, biographical and bibliographic materials, comments, and a catalog. Statements about the artist's peculiarities and the artist's thoughts about art present a complex but interesting picture of the development of fine art in the last century. The introductory article "Ukrainian Art of the Last Century: A History of Artists" from this book is available in the university repository.

The book will be useful for students majoring in Management of Socio-Cultural Activities in the courses History of Art, Topography of Culture, Ethics and Aesthetics. The book was published with the support of the Ukrainian Book Institute. The presentation of the book took place on February 8 at the Onatskyi Sumy Regional Art Museum.
