February 9-10, the 2nd training "Let's Stand Together: Comprehensive Work with Survivors of Conflict-Related Sexual Violence" was held at the Department of Psychosocial Work, which was attended by social workers and psychologists from Mykolaiv, Popivka, Krasnopil and Sumy communities.

The training was attended by an extremely motivated, focused group that actively interacted and supported each other. All participants have experience in the social sector, which obviously affects their willingness to listen and respond without judgment, to become a resource for others. At the same time, it was important to work on self-support, attention to one's own condition, and coping with stress.

"Short-term training program for social workers and psychologists in working with women who have experienced sexual violence" is implemented by NPO "Opportunity for Your Development" - a grantee of the Ukrainian Women's Fund / UWF in cooperation with the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies of Sumy State University and the Department of Social Protection of the Population of Sumy Regional State Administration within the framework of the project "We will stand together. Improving the Support System for Victims of Conflict-Related Sexual Violence/CSV", which is being implemented by the UWF in partnership with the NPO La Strada-Ukraine and the Ukrainian Women Lawyers Association "JurFem" with the support of the Office of the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the Office of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy and with funding from the European Union.
