"Think before you share!" is the slogan of the training course in which Alina Kliuieva, a first-year student of the Social Work program, took part. The event took place on January 29 - February 5, 2024 in Prudnik (Poland) as part of the Erasmus+ program "Think before You Share - Role of Media Literacy against the wave of disinformation". The goal was to strengthen the resilience of young people by teaching them the tools and programs needed to check facts, recognize visual manipulation, and find primary sources.

Participation in this project helped me learn a lot of interesting and necessary information. Participants discussed topics of media literature, facts and fakes, and factors of resistance to disinformation. They learned how to check the veracity of information. Most of the exercises were focused on teamwork.

An important and relevant addition to the training course was exercises to develop psychological resilience.

Alina said: "Participation in this project was a really interesting experience for me. It was very interesting to work in a team to solve common problems. Only when I returned home did I realize how much I had changed during this time. I plan to participate in other similar events in the future."
