The team "Quintet", consisting of 1st year students majoring in Psychology, was selected as part of the UPSHIFT program in Sumy region.

The team consists of: Anastasia Yeremeychuk, Kyrylo Deineka, Oleksandra Kotova, Vladyslava Strizheus and Anastasia Rashevska. The team was selected to the 10 teams participating in the second wave of the UPSHIFT program in Sumy region from among 76 other applicant teams.

On February 21-24, the students took part in the Bootcamp, during which they worked on the selected problem according to the UPSHIFT methodology. Within three months, the team plans to implement a project that will help solve the problem of the lack of communication skills among civilians with people who have experienced severe traumatic experiences during hostilities.

UPSHIFT, an innovative program for youth, is a global program of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) implemented in more than 40 countries. It empowers youth and adolescents with 21st century skills and resources to identify problems in their communities and propose innovative solutions to those problems.

The UPSHIFT program in Poltava and Sumy regions is implemented by the PO "Nova Poltava" within the framework of the program "Youth Capacity Development in Poltava and Sumy Regions", in partnership with the NGO "Center for Euroinitiatives", with financial support from the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through the state development bank KfW.
