March 13, a master class "Practical introduction to trance work" was held in the bomb shelter of the "Congress Center" as part of "Brain Week at Sumy State University", which was conducted by associate professor of the PPST department S.O. Nikolayenko

The event was attended by graduate psychologists, psychology students, as well as teachers and students of the educational and scientific medical institute, a total of 45 participants.
The purpose of the master class was to acquaint the participants with the methods of detecting suggestibility, hypnotizability, trust in the hypnotist, as well as acquiring their own experience of immersion in trance and utilization of trance.
At the beginning of the meeting S.O. Nikolayenko introduced the participants to the main stages of the trance work procedure, emphasized the importance of using purposefully created trance states in various contexts of activity and communication: therapeutic, sports, managerial, political, pedagogical, etc.
During the master class, S.O. Nikolayenko demonstrated some important techniques of trance formation, as well as the features to use such a unique method of disposing of the trance state as six-step reframing.
After the hypnotic sessions were over, volunteers were able to ask the hypnotists questions and discuss the demonstrated hypnotic phenomena.
During the coffee break, the participants had the opportunity to share their impressions and ask additional questions to S.O. Nikolayenko.
