April 16, students of the Social Work educational program held an interesting and useful event "From Dreams to Action" to promote social work among future applicants and students.

The participants of the educational career guidance event were students of the Stepanivsky Lyceum, applicants of the Sumy Professional College of Economics and Trade, and applicants of Sumy State University.

The event gave the participants an opportunity to communicate with each other in a warm and friendly atmosphere over a cup of coffee and play the intellectual game "SOCIOPAZL: From Dreams to Actions". The intellectual game was developed by the applicants for the specialty "Social Work" to familiarize themselves with the basics of social work, its principles, regulatory framework, with an emphasis on the importance of effective communication with vulnerable groups.

Both the participants and the organizers had vivid and positive impressions of the event. The feedback allowed us to identify the effectiveness of educational activities and assess the level of satisfaction with the time spent together in educational games and communication.

The event was organized by a project team led by applicant Kateryna Zavadska as part of the discipline Professional Communications and Social Partnership with the content module: Public Relations in Social Work" (Assoc. Prof. V. Opanasiuk).

The idea was supported by the student government of Sumy State University. In particular, the event was joined by Mykhailo Otych, student vice-rector for academic affairs, who is also a student majoring in social work.
