Last week, Zoreslava Shedenko, a master’s student majoring in Political Science, became a member of Ukrainian group who made an informational visit to Brussels. The team consists of winners of the NATO radio marathon, essay contest, as well as students interested in international relations, diplomacy and the whole situation in our geopolitical space.

During the visit, they visited SHAPE (Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe) and the NATO Headquarters in Brussels. These structures ensure the coordination of all Alliance efforts to confront global security challenges.

The students attended several military briefings of different countries: they learned about the history of the creation of NATO, the basic principles of the organization, the structure, cooperation between Ukraine and the Alliance, as well as the peculiarities of the work of diplomats of both sides.

We are sincerely grateful to the NATO Representation in Ukraine and the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Sociocultural Technologies for the opportunity to join this trip!
