The mission of Master's program:

Our master's program is aimed at training professionals who are able to solve complex problems and practical tasks in the process of learning and professional activity within the psychology. It involves conducting scientific and project research and/or implementing innovations, which is also characterized by uncertainty of conditions and requirements Additionally it is focused on the implementation of professional activities taking into account universal human values and norms which is psychologist`s professional ethics.

The key vectors of your future education: 

  • mental phenomena, patterns of their occurrence, functioning and development;
  • behavior, activity, actions;
  • interaction of people in small and large social groups;
  • psychophysiological processes and mechanisms underlying various forms of mental activity.

Employment opportunities:

Our graduates can work as a psychologist/psychology teacher at organizations of various types and ownership forms which are: enterprises and business organizations; educational institutions; institutions of health care; scientific institutions; tourist and sports institutions; state administration bodies; organizations of social services; Police Service; Armed Forces, etc., and also to have a private practice.

What are the main features of our master's program? 

  • combination of fundamental theoretical training with a strengthened practical component based on dual approaches;
  • wide opportunities for students to form a personal educational vector of their professional development by determining: the topic of scientific research; the content of educational components; methods of training and evaluation; bases of practices, etc.;
  • internship at organizations of various types and ownership forms within the Sumy region and other regions of Ukraine;
  • implementation of the educational process using Zoom, Google Meet, OCW, "MiX" platforms, etc.;
  • involvement in domestic and international academic mobility programs.
