Teachers of the section "Social work" provide teaching of the sociological, social-pedagogical and political science subjects for students of all faculties and specialties, as well as a series of specialized disciplines for the specified specialty: "History and theory of social work", "System of work of social services" ","Social work with different client groups","Conflictology","General and social pedagogy" and others.

Bachelor's training is based on the principles of dual education with an expanded block of practice-oriented disciplines and prospects for successful employment. The teachers of the department / section have considerable experience of social-pedagogical work, they are specialists in social engineering, HR-management, social entrepreneurship, management of public organizations, social diagnostics and prognostics, work with clients, social-corrective work.

In their activities, teachers make extensive use of innovative teaching methods, ensuring a high level of education in accordance with the requirements of European and national higher education standards.

The department provides activities of a number of centers and laboratories of scientific and social orientation, which are also a base of practice for students, providing a high level of training of students, acquisition of practical skills by students and the possibility of involvement in project activities.
