The master's degree students of "Organizational Psychology" specialty are involved in the internal virtual mobility program between Sumy State University and Mykhailo Drahomanov State University.

February 17, 2023, participants of the youth scientific and creative association "Project activity of the event-team" organized within the department of psychology, political science and socio-cultural technologies prepared and held the Valentine's Day event "Student optic love".

Another video within the joint project of Ukrainian youth and the open scientific circle "Critical thinking in critical times" of the Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies Department (SumDU) on the topic "Technologies of Ukrainian resistance".

February 13, 2023, as part of the study’s educational component named as: "Technologies of the work of organizational psychologists", a meeting of higher education applicants was held with practitians.

On November 1-5, 2022, associate professor and senior teacher of the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies A. Kostenko and Y. Savelieva participated in the DIALOGUE PROGRAM "Women and War. How Could Women's Networking Assist Peace" supported by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation.

The participants visited the National Institute for Public Administration, the representative office of UN Woman, gender non-governmental organizations and analytical centers of Moldova. The purpose of the program is to establish cooperation between expert groups of Ukraine and Moldova in the direction of promoting gender equality issues, building peace and overcoming the consequences of war.

On October 26-28, Candidate of Political Science, Director of Research Center for Regional Security Mykola Nazarov attended a conference on current trends in international security in Helsinki. In the report "Asymmetric Warfare Strategies and Methods in Russia – Ukraine War", the scientist highlighted key asymmetric approaches used by Ukraine to combat aggression.

The conference is organized by the University of Helsinki and is one of the largest annual conferences on the study of Russia and Eastern Europe in the world. The theme of the conference changes from year to year, and some of the most interesting scientists on the current topic are invited as keynote speakers.

On February 1, 2022, in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Povalii Tetiana Leonidivna was awarded the academic title of docent at the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies. The staff of the Department congratulates the colleague with a new professional achievement and wishes further realization of new ideas and creative inspiration!

From the beginning of 2022, students and future entrants of SumDU have the opportunity to study a special online course "Basic Rules of Security in the Digital Environment".

Along with the opportunities provided by information and communication technologies, we sometimes face threats that have arisen in the new digital reality – cybercrime, cyber espionage, intellectual property theft, and so on. Information and cybersecurity skills are essential to prevent all of these risks.

On February 15, 2022, the joint virtual mobility between the SumDU Faculty of Foreign Philology and Social Communications and the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University began. 27 applicants of the educational-professional programs "Psychology" of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education of SumDU and 21 applicants of the educational-professional program "Social sciences (Psychology)" of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University take part in the Program of joint virtual mobility. Students of partner higher education institutions develop the professional competencies needed to plan and conduct experimental psychological research. We wish you fruitful and fascinating work!

On September 15-16, 2021, students Karina Korczaka (PL-81), Mariya Karch (PL-81) and Evgeniya Babaevskaya (PL-91) and associate professor of the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies Tetyana Ivanova took part in the Hagia Sophia International Conference on Multidisciplinary Scientific Studies. The conference was held online in Istanbul (Turkey). It was attended by researchers from many countries, including India, Iran, Moldova, Pakistan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and others. The working language of the conference was English.

Participants from SumDU presented the results of their research and were able to get acquainted with relevant scientific areas, including in the field of psychology. As a result of the conference, participants received certificates as well as useful experience for future scientific work.
