Oleh Tialyakov, Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science, and Andrii Lebid, Professor of the Department of Political Science, will meet with Volodymyr Artyukh, Head of the Sumy Regional State Administration. As part of the training of future lawyers, it is important to master psychological knowledge. Therefore, Natalia Teslyk, PhD in Psychology, Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies of Sumy State University, gave a guest lecture for students of the Sumy Branch of Kharkiv University of Internal Affairs.
On November 27, as part of the course "Psychology of Emergency Situations", students majoring in Psychology had the opportunity to talk to Oksana Ivantsova, a group analyst, trauma therapist, crisis psychologist, and head of the NGO "Crisis Mental Health Center".
Applicants for the Psychology program acquire practical skills in coaching and participatory observation and at the same time engage in volunteer activities.
November 22, an interactive online game "Hype vs. Truth" was presented to the students of the department at the Sumy State University Congress Center to demonstrate how the information field is formed, why and how manipulations and fakes arise, and what to avoid in order not to endanger oneself and one's country.
Socialization of persons with disabilities through their involvement in sports is the focus of the course and qualification project of Alina Pirog, a student majoring in Social Work at Sumy State University (supervisor - Associate Professor Oleh Tuliakov).
Artem Bondariev, a PhD student at the Department of PPST, took part in the "Educational Laboratory for Ukrainian Foreign Policy Experts and Influencers", which was initiated by the NGO Center for International Security in cooperation with the Diplomatic Academy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation.
November 18, a meeting of the scientific and methodological seminar was held with the participation of the research and teaching staff of the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies.
November 13-17, the NATO International Conference "Science for Peace and Security" was held in Krakow. The conference covered critical infrastructure security, cybersecurity, international security cooperation, security innovations and local security projects.
